Hiking from Wuppertal Vohwinkel to Solingen Schaberg!
Hey! Just a step away from winter, isn’t it the right time to discover the beautiful colors of the autumn!? Let’s enjoy it with a lot of cool people! This time we are hiking from Wuppertal Vohwinkel to Solingen Schaberg, going along the Wupper!

So the plan is quite simple: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 11:15. Then:
- Dep: 11:42 Düsseldorf Hbf Gl. 7; RE 4 (26415) to Dortmund Hbf
- Arr: 11:54 Wuppertal-Vohwinkel Gl. 3
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 13.9km. We’ll have a break at Kohlfurther Brücke. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 3:58. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
