Hiking from Troisdorf to Siegburg and Christmas market!
Hey! Finally it’s the season of Christmas! Let’s enjoy the most beautiful Christmas markets of the area with a lot of cool people! This time we are hiking from Troisdorf to Siegburg, to visit the most beautiful Christmas market around there!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:30. Then:
- Dep: 10:58 Düsseldorf Hbf Gl. 16; RE 5 (28513) to Koblenz Hbf
- Arr: 11:25 Köln Messe/Deutz Gl. 8
- Dep: 11:33 Köln Messe/Deutz Gl. 9; S 12 to Au(Sieg)
- Arr: 11:53 Troisdorf Gl. 2
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 16.5km. We’ll have a break at Lohmar. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:22. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 18:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
