Hiking around Zerkall!
Hey! Did you notice the beautiful yellow and red color of the mountains? It’s time to explore the areas with a lot of cool people! This time we are going to Zerkall, which lies in the middle of this beautiful area Eifel!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 09:30. Then:
- Dep: 09:45 Düsseldorf Hbf Gl. 5; RE 1 (26810) to Aachen Hbf
- Arr: 10:45 Düren Gl. 1
- Dep: 11:20 Düren Gl. 4 a; RTB RB21 (90808) to
- Arr: 11:50 Zerkall
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 15.0km. We’ll have a break at Obermaubach. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:31. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 19:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
