Hiking from Wetter to Herdecke!

Hey! It’s getting colder and colder, but it’s not a reason to give up on everything in life right?? Let’s get out together and enjoy the world together! This time we are hiking around Wetter, which is a beautiful area along the Ruhr!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:00. Then:

1. Dep: 10:22 Düsseldorf Hbf Gl. 17: RE 1 (26813) to Hamm(Westf)Hbf
2. Arr: 10:50 Essen Hbf Gl. 6
3. Dep: 11:07 Essen Hbf Gl. 9: RB 40 (30769) to Hagen Hbf
4. Arr: 11:37 Wetter(Ruhr) Gl. 2

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 15.5km. We’ll have a break at Herdecke. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:22. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 18:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
