Hiking from Wittbräucke to Herdecke!

Hey! It’s February! It’s almost spring! Let’s get ready for the new season with other cool people! This time we are walking from Wittbräucke to Wetter, which is going to be a comfortable winter walk!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:00. Then:

1. Dep: 10:22 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 17 (RE 1 (26813))
2. Arr: 11:15 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 11
3. Dep: 11:32 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 3 (RB 52 (14665))
4. Arr: 11:52 Wittbräucke – Platform 1

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 13.6km. We’ll have a break in Herdecke. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 3:52. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 18:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
