Hiking from Kettwig to Stadtwald!
Hey! It’s really cold this weekend; let’s just have a nice walk nearby with some cool people! This time we are hiking from Kettwig to Stadtwald, going through the nice forest along the Ruhr!

So the plan is quite simple: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:45. Then:
- Dep: 11:00 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 14 (S 6)
- Arr: 11:26 Kettwig – Platform 2
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 14.5km. We’ll have a break somewhere on the way. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:04. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 16:30 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
