Hiking around Overath!
Hey! Your ticket still allows you to travel around NRW? Why don’t you take advantage of the prestige! Let’s enjoy a great Sunday with other cool people! This time we’re hiking around Overath, which lies in the beautiful area of Bergisches Land

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 09:15. Then:
- Dep: 09:40 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 16 (RE 1 (26814))
- Arr: 10:06 Köln Messe/Deutz – Platform 8
- Dep: 10:27 Köln Messe/Deutz – Platform 9 (RB 25 (10536))
- Arr: 10:58 Overath – Platform 3
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 14.4km. We’ll have a break at Fischermühle. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:20. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 16:45 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
