Hiking around Lennep!
Hey! It’s virtually summer! Let’s enjoy the great nature and maybe also swim in a beautiful lake! This time we are hiking around Lennep, where we will be able to swim in a lake during the break!

So the plan is quite simple: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:15. Then:
- Dep: 10:40 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 11 (R RE47 (89316))
- Arr: 11:27 Remscheid-Lennep – Platform 3
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 16.1km. We’ll have a break in the Wuppertalsperre. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:23. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:30 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
