Hiking in 6 Seen Platte

Hey! The weather may be slightly cold, but wouldn’t it be a pity if you miss a great opportunity to enjoy the nature outside? This time, we are proposing a hike in 6 Lakes place (6 seen platte), a really beautiful multiple lake viewing area near Duisburg!

So the plan is quite simple: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 11:15am. Then we take S1 from platform 14 that leaves at 11:37am. This train arrives in Duisburg-Buchholz at 12:00 and we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it?

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!. It’s within the VRR region so if you have a Ticket 2000/Semester ticket/Young Ticket Plus, you can travel there for free. Even if you don’t it’s very likely that someone can take you for free so just be there in time!

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 13.5 km. We’ll have a break at Haus Seeblick. It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!

Regardless of the weather, we will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
