Hiking from Velbert-Langenberg to Hattingen!

Hey! It’s still cold, but it’s getting brighter everyday! Why not enjoy the change of seasons with a lot of cool people! This time we are hiking from Velbert Langenberg to Hattingen, which is a beautiful area with a lot of change of landscape!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:15. Then:

1. Dep: 10:42 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 7 (RE 4 (26413))
2. Arr: 10:54 Wuppertal-Vohwinkel – Platform 3
3. Dep: 11:03 Wuppertal-Vohwinkel – Platform 12 (S 9)
4. Arr: 11:18 Velbert-Langenberg – Platform 1

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 15.1km. We’ll have a break at Haus Niggemann. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:24. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
