Hiking from Schaberg to Güldenwerth and Schloss Burg!

Hey! It’s getting brighter and brighter outside. Don’t you think it’s time to get out and see what a beautiful world is out there? This time we’re hiking from Solingen Schaberg to Güldenwerth, going over Schloss Burg!!!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:30. Then:

1. 10:55 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 11 (S 1)
2. 11:17 Solingen Hbf – Platform 10
3. 11:22 Solingen Hbf – Platform 9 (VIA S7)
4. 11:35 Solingen-Schaberg – Platform 2

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 13.8km. We’ll have a break at Schloss Burg. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:00. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:45. Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So feel free to join us and enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
