Hey! December is cold in Germany, but that’s exactly the reason why we should look forward to Christmas markets! This time we are hiking from Hennef to Siegburg, to visit the beautiful medieval Christmas market!
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 17.5km. We’ll have a break at Franzhäuschen. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:40. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 18:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
