Hiking from Bad Hönningen to Linz!

Hey! Do you see the changing colors of the trees outside? It’s autumn! The best season to enjoy the nature! This time I’m proposing a hike from Bad Hönningen to Linz, in order to take advantage of the railway autumn promotion!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 9:30am. Then:

1. Dep: 09:58 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 16 (RE 28511)
2. Arr: 10:25 Köln Messe/Deutz – Platform 8
3. Dep: 10:41 Köln Messe/Deutz – Platform 4 (RB 10617)
4. Arr: 11:43 Bad Hönningen – Platform 1

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! Thanks to the autumn promotion of the train companies, you can travel for free if you have any monthly ticket! Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 15.7 km. We’ll have a break at Leubsdorf. It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket.
