Hiking from Leutesdorf to Bad Hönningen!
Hey! We’re slowly heading to autumn – that means the vineyards are getting more and more beautiful! Let’s see what it looks like with other cool people! This time we’ll walk from Leutesdorf to Bad Hönningen, with the magnificent view over the Rhine!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 08:15. Then:
- Dep: 08:40 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 15 (RE 1 (26812))
- Arr: 09:19 Köln-Ehrenfeld – Platform 4
- Dep: 09:33 Köln-Ehrenfeld – Platform 3 (RB 27 (10615))
- Arr: 10:51 Leutesdorf(Rhein) – Platform 1
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! You can take the train with your 9-euro ticket!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 19.2km. We’ll have a break at Hammerstein. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 5:37. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 19:15. Komoot says this track is difficult. So make sure that you are well prepared! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
