Hiking around Kamakura!

December 29, 2019 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Hey! Tired of the metropolitan area of Tokyo? Maybe it’s time to think about relaxing in the beautiful nature in one of Japan’s most historical places! This time, I’m proposing a hike from Hase to Kamakura, which lies exactly in the middle of all historical places of that area!

Download kml / gpx

So the plan is quite easy: we’re gonna see each other at the station of Hase at noon. You can reach it via

  1. JR Yokosuka line from Tokyo (or Shinagawa, Yokohama etc.) to Kamakura and change to Enoden (Enoshima-Dentetsu).
  2. Odakyu line from Shinjuku to Fujisawa (You have to take Katase-Enoshima line) and change to Enoden. This is what I’m going to take
  3. JR Shonan from Shinjuku (or Ikebukuro or Shibuya) to Kamakura and change to Enoden

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 12 km. We’ll have a break somewhere on the way.

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.

This event is also organized on couch surfing. Check it out from this page!

Hope to see you there!
