Hiking around Iserlohn and Christmas market!
Hey! It’s Christmas! It’s the best moment of the year to enjoy the nature and get a warm wine afterwards on the beautiful German Christmas market! This time we’re hiking around the city of Iserlohn, a beautiful area on the edge of the Sauerland!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 09:45. Then:
- Dep: 10:12 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 7 (RE 13 (20073))
- Arr: 10:55 Hagen Hbf – Platform 3
- Dep: 11:15 Hagen Hbf – Platform 10 (RE 16 (89462))
- Arr: 11:30 Letmathe – Platform 3
- Dep: 11:35 Letmathe – Platform 1 (RE 16 (56117))
- Arr: 11:42 Iserlohn – Platform 2
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! TRAVEL_SITUATION
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 14.0km. We’ll have a break at Forsthaus Löhen. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 4:11. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 18:00 (with considerable uncertainty). Komoot says this track is of average difficulty. So don’t think too much and just enjoy! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
