Expert hike from Neheim to Arnsberg!
Hey! Did you think NRW is just an industrial flat land? That’s not true – there’s this wild area called Sauerland. Let’s get out together and explore the area together! This time I’m proposing a hike from Willingen to Winterberg, a beautiful area that you cannot miss if you live in NRW!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 7:45am. Then:
- Dep: 08:21 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 17 (RE 26809)
- Arr: 09:14 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 8
- Dep: 09:41 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 4 (RE 10757)
- Arr: 10:18 Neheim-Hüsten – Platform 2
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! It’s not within the VRR region, but within NRW, so students can travel for free!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 25 km. We’ll have a break at Torhaus (reservation maybe required). It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
