Expert hike from Kall to Nettersheim!

Hey! Did you know that you don’t have to fly far to have a great experience? Whether you did or not, it’s a great chance for you to have a great day in the nature! This time I’m proposing a hike from Kall to Nettersheim, going through this famous region called Eifel!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Köln Hbf at 10am. Then:

1. Dep: 10:21 Köln Hbf – Platform 7 A-C (RE 11331)
2. Arr: 11:16 Kall – Platform 1

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! It’s inside the VRS region, so if you have a VRR ticket, you’ll need an EinfachWeiterTicket or an NRW ticket. If you are a student inside NRW, you can probably travel for free.

Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 19 km. We’ll have a break in Steinfeld. It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket.

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.

Coronavirus guideline: Following the local government instructions, please respect the social-distancing rule, i.e. from the beginning of the event till the end, a minimum distance of 1.5 m to any person in the group is required. In particular, this means:

1. Don’t occupy two seats next to each other on the train
2. If you bring a picnic blanket, don’t share it with other people
3. Don’t share food or water
4. If you go to a restaurant during break, local rules may apply. Please inform yourselves beforehand if you plan to go there.
