Expert hike from Arnsberg to Möhnesee!
Hey! It’s summer! It’s hot so let’s go to the forest and swim in a beautiful lake! That’s what’s gonna happen this weekend! This time, we’re going to hike from Arnsberg to this beautiful lake Möhnesee, going through a beautiful forest area!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other at Düsseldorf Hbf at 08:00. Then:
- 08:22 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 17 (RE 26811)
- 09:15 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 11
- 09:41 Dortmund Hbf – Platform 4 (RE 10757)
- 10:24 Arnsberg(Westf) – Platform 1
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! You can take the train with your 9-euro ticket!
Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 24.8km. We’ll have a break at Möhnesee. The total duration of the hike according to Komoot is 6:51. We will probably be back in Düsseldorf Hbf around 19:45. Komoot says this track is difficult. So make sure that you are well prepared! It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
