Hiking around Wegberg
Hey! Sure it’s cold, but did you know that there’s so much beauty in this weather as well? It’s time to discover it with a lot of cool people! This time we’re hiking around this isolated city called Wegberg, right next to the Dutch border!

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:30. Then:
- Dep: 10:48 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 12 (RE 20072)
- Arr: 11:11 Mönchengladbach Hbf – Platform 7
- Dep: 11:31 Mönchengladbach Hbf – Platform 2 (VIA90509)
- Arr: 11:47 Wegberg – Platform 1
Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! It’s not within the VRR region, but within NRW, so students can travel for free! Those who have a monthly ticket can travel there with an EinfachWeiterTicket!
Then we’ll walk according tothis map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format).The total distance is something like 12.0 km. We’ll have a break Somewhere on the wayIt would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket. You are also very welcome to bring a ball/frisbee, a guitar and more!
Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
