Hiking around Marienheide!

Hey! Summer is here! Let’s enjoy this great season with a lot of cool people! This time I’m proposing a hike around Marienheide, going along beautiful lakes (where we can in principle swim)

So the plan is as follows: we’re gonna see each other in front of Düsseldorf Hbf at 9:15am. Then:

1. Dep: 09:40 Düsseldorf Hbf – Platform 16 (RE 26814)
2. Arr: 10:12 Köln Hbf – Platform 9 D-G
3. Dep: 10:24 Köln Hbf – Platform 10 A-B (RB 10536)
4. Arr: 11:43 Marienheide – Platform 1

Then we start hiking. Easy, isn’t it? If you come from a different city, feel free to join us wherever you want on the way! Thanks to the summer promotion of the train companies, you can travel for free if you have any monthly ticket in NRW, and you can take also one person for free! Then we’ll walk according to this map (in kml-format) or this map (in gpx-format). The total distance is something like 15.0 km. We’ll have a break at Bockemühle. It would be helpful if you’d bring something to eat and a picnic blanket.

Regardless of the weather, I will NOT cancel the event, so please check it out yourselves and decide whether to come or not yourselves.
